I got the coolest sweater for Christmas from my daughter’s boyfriend. I’ve never seen another one like it. It is long in the back to my calves. Short as a vest in the front that can be worn two ways. Closed, the vested front looks like a fringed V-neck. Open, it looks like large fringed lapels. My sweater has long sleeves that are black, ringed in different colors. Each color is a different weave of only a few rows, separated by wider bands of black. The sweater is fringed in long threads. The colors are soft; blue, gray, green and burnt orange. The stripes run vertical down the front and back. These vertical stripes help to hide my growing assets. The sweater is snazzy; it has flash and pizazz. I feel confident and pretty when I wear it. Someone said it was “so me”. To which I replied, “You mean loud and obnoxious?!” We had a good laugh. LGR©1/7/18 |

For a while there, Miss Lori, that sweater sounded like something I once saw Groucho Marx wearing in 'Animal Crackers'! Keep an eye on that boyfriend...he's lookin' for an inheritance chest!  ...just bein' Bluesy |
