It is nine degrees and the snow is blowing every which way on the bitter wind. What a lovely way to start the day after Christmas. I have no plans to go anywhere anytime soon, so let the snowflakes fly. I feel like taking it slow and basking in the afterglow of a perfect Christmas Eve and Day. All our plans went off without a hitch. When we spun out on the ice, we didn’t hit the ditch. Everyone was happy with everything they got. Being able to be all together really meant a lot, We shared stories and had many laughs and smiles. As we reminisced, it melted away the years and miles. We ate and ate until we were stuffed with goodies to eat. Then we nibbled some more on all things sweet. That night we all had happy thoughts in our heads as we reluctantly took ourselves off to our beds. LGR©12/26/17 |

More like "OMG, why did I eat all those ham and beans!" We had Christmas wine from the local vineyard and played 'Cards Against Humanity'. It's a crazy game and the wine makes it just that much more fun ![]() |
