Shadows are dancing Upon ceiling and wall Logs crackle merrily As ashes spark and fall The Christmas tree shimmers The garland sparkles bright Angel adorns the top Such a beautiful sight The mantle is aglow With a bough of holly Christmas tunes are playing The mood is quite jolly The scent of gingerbread Hangs lightly in the air As we sit hand in hand Without worry or care Shivering snowflakes drift Beyond the windowpane As we snuggle closer And share a candy~cane This is a Christmas eve That I'll always hold dear For you've made it special By simply being here © Poet In Pink |

I've looked and looked and need you to correct me if I'm wrong, but I cannot find a single creature in your picture whose name doesn't start with a 'D'! "Are you sure you don't see the lil' mouse over near the fireplace?" "Well, I'm as sure as I can be, Miss Pinky! I even pasted the image on my desktop and blew it up and I still can't see a mouse! Say! What would a mouse be doin' in a nice place like that? And with a dog yet?" "You better drive over here, Miss Pinky, and help me find him. Just go out to the light and make a left. I'm about 1500 miles down the block on the left. I'll leave the porch light on..." ...just bein' Bluesy |

Hey, Miss Pinky! I hope I catch ya before you're out the drive! I think I know what's goin' on! I had just finished downing my second bottle of Schnapps, when I saw a pink elephant between the tree and the window jumping up and down wildly! I looked closer to see what he was freakin' over and there it was! A mouse! So that's your secret!  ...just bein' Bluesy |
