It was a night caressed by warm summer breezes whose fingers were eager to do just what pleases, the waters were tranquil and calm The stars shone so brightly yet touched my eyes lightly, moonbeams danced in sarongs Their ballroom was grand and each grain of sand reflected great crystalline splendor Huge columns of stone stood all alone, what they've seen, no man can remember But for their uses, I found no excuses when searching my soul for content Until she is free and comes home to me, it's all memories which I have spent ...just bein' Bluesy |
