Underneath the Christmas tree is a gathering of gifts wrapped by me. The Granddaughter’s is so big it had to be bagged. Each one I lovingly tagged From: and To: whom Even for one still in the womb. My head is dancing with love and joy thinking of playing with grandson and his new toy. Each package warmed my heart as I thought about the wrapping torn apart and the surprise inside revealed. Until then my lips are sealed. I’m full of the Christmas Spirit, happy as I can be. My Christmas cheer is all wrapped up underneath the Christmas tree. LGR©12/18/17 |

Don't mind if I do, it's my bed time. Glad you liked my feeble attempt to take a whack at rhyming. Pinky makes it look effortless, my @$$! ~L |

Jerry, I'd say it is more my love for the people the gifts are going to. ~L |

Hey Pinkypoo! Got the first two lines right off the bat, then it was a struggle to go on. Once I got into it, it got easier. But then you will notice it is a short poem. Thanks. ~L |
