I’m stiff and achy
I would love a good massage.
Too self- indulgent.

However, I splurge
on vacation in Sturgis,
get one every year.

It is so Monday
I say we call it all off
start over Tuesday.

Said I’d go shopping
after work with my daughter.
may need a nap first.

Grand kids need some toys
and I need stocking stuffers
and wrapping paper.

Starting to look like
Christmas around my old house.
Getting in the mood.

Get up and go went.
Got those Monday blahs real bad.
I might just go home.

Stomach is churning
and my forehead is pounding
I might just go home.

I’m done with my work
just sitting here bored to death.
I might just go home.

Yes I did go home 2 hours early. Took some Imodium and a nap and by 5:00 I was ready to do a couple of hours of Xmas shopping with my daughter. ~L
