The blank page spreads before me like a white satin sheet I’m dying to lay on. My eyes are so heavy and my mind keeps going blank. If I could just get a few minutes of precious sleep I think I could keep my eyes open. Or perhaps not, it might just make me sleepier still. Downing coffee like a fool then doing the stairs to take a powder doesn’t even help. The minutes are crawling by as I nod between each line. I’m about ready to hang it up and go home. I’m not earning my pay today. It’d help if I had a big project. But I’m scraping for things to do. Things will pick up again in a week or two. OMG! This day is going to last forever! I don’t know what to do. Maybe I’ll just sit here and daydream of you. |

I took a cat nap at lunch and I'm doing better. Do something dangerous, huh? I could go activate my new MasterCard! heh, heh, heh I don't think it's the blues, I think it is getting up at 3am for some reason the past few days. ~L |
