Who turned the light out? I’ve not seen enough Were you hiding, my darling? You know I’m feeling so rough Don't turn away from me now, you don’t know the way Oh, where is my voice when there’s so much to say Telling your father what your mother must know, I’m feeling weak at the knees, I really should go So much has ended, I fear I’ll never grow old Living in daydreams while walking through snow So much confusion as I think of back home, I was strong as an oak tree but weak was my poem So, what have I done on this page without ink? I’m on the twelfth line and find it harder to think Now, where it was summer, the winter has come Millions of snowflakes now see what I've done, The old man is gone, leaving me with no choice, but to sing my way home, just me and my voice. ...just bein' Bluesy |

Now you are getting really good! You pulled bits and pieces of nothing together and magically made a poem. A poet after my own heart. ~L ![]() |
