Falling for Her Type If I gave in to her Love it would be in the morning after a hot cup of cocoa had warmed our hearts; the beauty of her well formed smile, whipped cream all over her perfect lips, not one good reason to stay apart, many reasons to want a kiss; her essence pulling me in her presence making my day begin and end, her pretty ears listening to me as if I have good things to say; and yet I'm not sure if what we're sharing is Love but when we share a close dance it seems Love has a possible chance, and what of my feelings what are they revealing, why do I consider her so fine, it must be because she is so slender and pretty, I fall for her type almost every time. Love is a feeling and being such, one can't find it by looking. That's called something else. Beautiful poetry James. ...just bein' Bluesy |
