Everything was quiet All through the house The only thing stirring Was me and my mouse The keyboard sat waiting Ready to please Contemplating the strokes Of fingers on keys The monitor stared back In a muted blue Waiting patiently To take its cue All systems were go It was finally time To weave some poetry Implementing rhyme © Poet In Pink |
