Born from a thought, nurtured by an imagination, evolving into a dream Still, in all her affection and beauty, she lays beyond my reach ...but she never knows that Sometimes, she looks up at me, smiling an unsuspecting smile Sometimes, she gives so much of herself to me, to comfort my many ails and desires ...yet never once realizing how distant she is If the ink never fades, she’ll live forever, long after this heart of mine has died ...and this poem, as my desire for her, comes to a quieting end ...just bein' Bluesy |

aww Bluesy, that is downright precious, even if you are talking about Betty Boop. It is sweet as it can be. Betty Boop aside, it has an air of mystery and unrequited ~L. |

Thank you, Lori Rhoden...for your reply of understanding. It's the anthropomorphism in me. We all have to deal with our fetishes. ...just bein' Bluesy |

Gee, I wonder if I have a fetish? I know it is not feet. How does one figure these things out? Is there a questionnaire you fill out somewhere? ~L |
