Nothing has changed
around here
since you’ve been gone
but me.
I’m a little bit lost
and a whole lot lonely
without my baby.
Days kind of drag
as I wait for a call.
It’s all good,
no worries at all.
Changes in the routine
have been very small.
Something is missing
that won’t be
gotten used to.
That I can see.
I’ll just have to
miss you,
until you come back
to me.

Sometimes missing someone you love is as bad as pining for him and knowing he will not return. Its a "heart" thing.

Thanks Bluesy for your kind comment. My 20yr old daughter who lives at home is doing her best to keep mom entertained, we played cards last night. Dennis only like to play poker, so it was a real treat for me. ~L

You're in good company, Miss Lori. I like poker too, but I make it a rule to never play with anyone in long sleeves.

I like 3 card poker at the Casino in South Dakota when we go. Texas hold'em is okay,
but I don't care for the betting part and that's what makes poker, poker so...~L
