The mighty oak stands in regal grace Adorned by Autumn's golden embrace Across the meadow northern winds skitter As scarlet tipped leaves begin to flitter Billowing clouds drift through the blue sky Reminiscent thoughts of you draw nigh Ghosts from the past rise up and then depart As the love we shared softly soothes my heart As seasons change my promise will stay true I'll think of you always in all I do I'll look for comfort in Heaven above For that's where you are my angel~my love © Poet In Pink |
