Pirate Moon So still the rigging on a black calm sea Sails unfurled cast shadows on wooden decks Pirate ghosts walk afeared in silent plea Lost souls that haunt tethered within the wrecks Where Davy Jones accounting for their crimes Spins gold doubloons preferring heads nor tails Once long ago they sailed for better climes Skull and crossbones rampant above black sails Moonlight beams reflecting off cutlass blades Inlet waves murmur of their darker deeds Cutthroat honour soon their memory fades Tunics once fine now dressed in salty weeds The moon then hides behind the sailing clouds Pirates then appear mourning in their shrouds |

This is really great! I just envisioned the ghost ships from Johnny Depp movies. Enjoyed much! ~L |
