Suffering Parable

Suppose every person upon this earth
was given one hundred marbles to invest
on members of the opposite sex
and you invested all them on the wrong person,
not all at once, but as your trust built;
now that person is gone long gone from your life,
it's past time to start pulling those marbles back
into your account so you can reinvest them.

It's never "past time" James, unless you are sufficiently breathless. The 'right one' will let you keep your 'marbles', or not require them at all because she trusts YOU.

Ahhh Marbles. If we’re supposed to invest in people then I should get what I give so I shouldn’t run out...unless it’s a marble game- I don’t do well playing marble games
