Fair to middlin' of nowhere

We’re going to a party tonight
I feel like letting go
I might get smashed
I might get trashed
Who knows
what I might do.
There is going to be a band.
Might dance a little,
might dance a lot.
Might hurt myself
shakin’ what I got.
A lot of good people
are gonna be there.
There will be lots of talk
and laughter to be had.
It’s a Biker party,
so I didn’t invite my Dad
They’re roasting a hog,
it’ll be great.
All the ol’ ladies are
bringing stuff to eat.
It all goes good
with that roasted hog meat.
As I was saying,
I’m not sure just what
my  condition will be
when I get home.
They just might have to carry me.
It’ll take two I’m sure of that.
Because I’m so full of
kindness and love
it makes me look fat.

Hope the party you are going to doesn't turn out like another party you went to some time ago.

Hey Bluesy,
What a nice thing to say! That was a shameless tooting of my own horn. (which is probably a tuba) ~L

"Tuba or not tuba, THAT is the question!"
