Love is at the helm Yet the passion steers Somewhere in the hold Logic shackled tears. A cry from the nest: Onward without fear! Eden never reach Anchored to a pier. Then Logic whispers: Do proceed with care Dangers below lurk Onward if you dare! Thus at last the ship From the shore is cast I heard best one be Fastened to a mast. Ask me not which port Where the anchor be Last I checked was still Drifting out at sea. CG |

Sometimes, I have that helpless feeling of drifting with no means of control. Excellent written poem. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Love that! A lot of drifting in this world as love can be stormy. Even looking from the nest doesn't tell the whole story. I'll use a favorite line from a movie I loved ~ "Beware the under toad" Work like money doesn't matter, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching... |

As long as it stays adrift and doesn't sink that is what matters most Much enjoyed CG ~ Alana |
