A 'Textured' Pick Up Line (Is it real?) |

You’re walking to your car after a long day at the office when you spy that favorite little coffee house with the cute patio outdoors. You decide to hang out for a frapper when you suddenly notice that all the tables and chairs are taken, save one... and there he is, unknown to you, but obviously noticing your well-shaped gams and stellar framework. By the time his eyes rise to your expression, your lips begin to move producing an angelic sound that arrives to his ears in the form of words asking him if the empty chair was spoken for. He replies that perhaps if the chair might speak for itself, it would say that no bottom it had ever served could be as attractive as yours in shape or ‘texture’ and it would indeed be a most pleasurable experience, for even your flatulence would be like the finest perfumes in Paris. In your silent and coy way you sit down with the grace of a Queen and an ever-so slight tilt of your head. You’re smooth, silky and well-’textured’ lips may have been painted by Renoir himself. Having now been intoxicated by your many appealing virtues, he knows he has to feel the ‘texture’ which awaits within you. He's not a man without certain talents to draw a fair maiden such as yourself to his bed while maintaining your dignity as a woman among women who understands the ‘textures’ of her lovers. Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |

There are textures, and then there are textures. A man with the observational powers as does the man you described herein need never retire to his bed alone, unless he so desires. Great flowing poem, my friend. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Thanks so much Jerry. It's actually an excerpt from a letter I had written to a gal I know who has a great sense of humor. I call her "Linny". She used to be a "Linda", but she's too smart for having a 'duh' as the second syllable. I like her on my 'knee'. I thought it would be fun to post it because she and I like to have a little wordplay now and then where we pick a word and build something around it. In this case it was "texture". You'd think we'd have better things to do, wouldn't you? Many thanks again Jerry for stickin' around here and replying as often as you do. You're the pillar pal! Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |

a very interesting "penning!" I find it rather 'unfortunate' that all the women I meet in this lonely world ... are only attracted to the 'bad boys' and 'players' ... with the most glib 'pick up' lines ... Poet-Romanticists and 'nice guys' need not apply |
