Picture one bright red happy heart and you'll picture my heart over~loaded with love and joy permanently pressed within the cycle of forever A tender heart set to delicate tagged ~ wash with care make note like colors are a must spin on gentle for a longer lasting love In the normal wear and tear of life there are bound to be stains some more stubborn than others we reach for that magic fix cross our fingers & pre~treat Sometimes tho' happiness seems to fade no matter the care even when we follow directions hopes & dreams go down the drain leaving us with empty suds Picture one bright red happy heart you'll picture what my heart once was for through the cycles of love it came out bleached blue so much for wash and wear © Poet In Pink |

Pinky? You make laundry day desirable on each little square on the calendar. An ingenious series of cycles that makes me switch from NPR to your far more engaging poetry as I’m folding all that has tossed about like my emotions each time I read your words. My dear Pinky Pink Pink, I find no comedy in your poetry. What I do find Pinky, is warmth, sensuality and reverence for which I endeavor to relate in return, with the greatest of respect. I'm not one who belabors singular, generic applause. You and I both know the 'reality' and the 'unreality' of poetry forums. I myself started posting on a single page site nearly 20 years ago. My background is broad ranging from radio, television, music and premeditated mayhem. I'm an ex-Marine with 3 tours in Vietnam under my belt and live and love as though yesterday never happened. I change monikers here every now and again to try and get past the "status quo" and it's no secret to anyone here what those monikers are. You're an exceptional poetess Pinky (or poet if you prefer) and I admire your expressions immensely. Take no offense I beg of you, I just like to be playful. I'll be gone soon enough and likely return as yet another screwball...or maybe not. I might be a girl again, that was fun! Or a tall, dark stranger. Sometimes I appear at just the right time. Other times at the wrong time. At any rate my dear Pinky, I'm 'up to nothing' yet always 'up to something'. I'm tight in my relationship and she's just a few steps from me even as I key all this in. She knows I just like to have fun. That's what I'd like you to know too because I know you like to have fun as well. Just thought you'd like to know something more about 'Phineas', Pinky. Wowsers!!! That was almost better than a paid background check!!! ha ha Think you may have the beginnings of a thesis here! lol First let me just say thank you for giving of your time to read my humble offerings ~ I do appreciate your kind replies and take them just as that and nothing more ~ So NO I am not holding a secret torch! ha ha I to am silly and like to have fun, so no worries there. Happy to hear you have a wonderful relationship ~ Those are hard to come by these days.
