Don't Tell Me, Her Name Is On My Lips... |

It was a damp and dreary Tuesday in the evening at the bar The tavern's door was open when she entered like a star She asked for a 'Cuba Libre' as she brushed my arm aside My nostrils flared from perfume as she turned to me and sighed Her hair was thick and flaxen and her eyes deep almond brown Her lips were full and painted and curved as if to frown Soon my gaze was recognized and she asked what was my thought Her beauty, I said, was stunning and could it well be bought? She smiled and said, "all things my friend, are always best when shared And when it comes to lovin' me two souls will then be bared" She finished her drink and smiled at me then turned with grace to leave saying... "And when next you fall in love my friend, perhaps you'll think of me" Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here... |

Well, PU, I guess she told you. But I guess that is just the sort of thing that happens when a man lets his eyes bug out and his tongue fall to the ground. Better luck next time. ![]() |

Yep. I have been in that same situation a few times, PU. It's called learning to deal with, and understand the feminine mystic. Didn't work for me, I'm still mystified. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

You're right Mr. Bolton! I'm gonna pick me up a copy of Betty Freiden's book and get me some moxie! Thanks for the comments and the inspiration! Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here... |

Many floors have I been thrown to, my friend, by sudden and on-going dreams - - - but that made the victories (when "they" allowed them)much, much sweeter. enjoyed j. |

Thanks so much for you visit Mr. Beard. The important thing is that you got yourself back up and gave it another 'go'! Thanks again! Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here... |

Hello P.U. Your words are a reminder that one should never judge a book by its cover. As the old saying goes....Win some, lose some. Thanks for the read ~ Alana |

Thanks Pinkie! I always judge books by their "cover". Sometimes I'm right (win) and sometimes I'm wrong (lose). Like you, I'm very much divided on the whole 'yin~yang thing. Thanks again. ![]() Just out looking for the real me... |
