Time To Spring Ahead |

I've done a pretty good job of hibernating this winter holed up in my concrete cave locking the world out just me and my memories or lack of them lots of time to wallow in whys chase fears with tears sink into sadness I took off the rose colored glasses a long time ago my eyes have adjusted to the starkness of gray the pain seems to hurt less in that shade Not as taxing as sorting through all the colors Soon clocks every where will be springing ahead before long Mother Nature will awaken with vigor and vim life will bud anew in all of its glorious beauty that which has lain dead and dormant will flourish once again No looking back at what was or what could of been the secret is to find the reality of what is and what can be It's been a long winter the journey through heart and soul has been agonizing but sometimes you have to brave the heartache to get to the healing I for one am ready to come out of hibernation Color my world © Poet In Pink |

Hey Pinky... Looks like we're both roaming around on a Sunday afternoon. Relating emotions to our passing seasons is to be in touch with ourselves from within and our surroundings from without. As the two become one we find both love and tolerance, a discipline of sorts without jagged edges. That being said, I liked reading something of you from a different perspective. Your years are showing with grace and keen perspective. Just don't EVER post 'tall' poetry again or I'm really gonna give it to ya! Just out looking for the real me... I liked the long poem though I usually am not a real big fan. But yours, Your Pinkness, gave the sensation of growing sprouting and blooming. It really worked great. ~L |
