". . . what can one say but, Salieri?" Millions have seen Amadeus, But no one else has turned this into a Weirdino Family Tradition, One so engrained that sometimes All you have to do is shrug and say "Salieri." Weirdino Family Traditions extend all the way back To the birthday card we gave our daughter to let her know she was one of us, A member of The Great Weirdinos. Not meant to be a secret code. Just you had to be there, And you had to get it To get it now. Like that screening of The Addams Family at the Aloha Theater where, most of the time, we were the only ones laughing. Weirdino traditions continue. A casual observer may think we are old and addled, Can't even remember the day of the week. Ah me, what can one say but . . . "Salieri" |
