Chocolate covered cherries
Warm fuzzy blanket
Staying up late watching Tv
because sleep wont come easy.
Dose off in Grandam's recliner
first Christmas with out her.
Feeling lost in this wilderness
everyone around oblivious.
To the inside of "what's the matter".

The shoulder
The solider
The Mother
The wife
The Daughter

Slippers on cold feet
Dishes in the sink
Laundry waiting to be folded or put away
Just another day
Darkness out the window
Curtains close
Until Tomorrow

I've felt the sadness of just functioning while missing someone. I think I like the fact that knowing the reason for being in the situation of missing her seems to be left up to the reader. Enjoyed.

I know his hands will dig up my secrets"
