Visitors By Paul Wilson Visitors come at night From the distant land Stars light their way Their journey well planned Worlds apart yet connected to us Who are these visitors we ask From another land they came Hiding behind history’s mask Are they ancient ones from long ago? Sent here from the past Are they sent here from the future? To help us survive at long last We must welcome them and their ways Learning what we need to survive They have much to teach us Together we can thrive Lights in night sky Signal their return now and then Wanting to contact us Not sure where to begin The masters like Plato and Poe Einstein and Beethoven taught by them They were chosen to guide and teach us With open arms we welcome them Tomorrow may start our journey To a better place for all Watch for visitors that come from night sky Welcome them or it could be our downfall Copy Right 11/21/2020 ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |

Interesting, Paul. I've pondered similar thoughts in the past. One thing is certain, in the times in which we live, we can use all the help we can get. |
