(Note to J. I tried emailing you for permission to use the words in the title. Please let me know if you'd rather me change the title. ![]() Let words lean on doors (gazes fixed suggestively) leaving thoughts with robes open askew around the shoulders like half dazed recipients of the urges of long starved lovers. Leave them shaken mouth open willing to drop their slipping shrouds and be naked vulnerable to the truths squirming uncomfortably beneath. Then Let words anchor in their flesh with claws and shake these thoughts demanding all framed foundations be quaking (knees near collapse) beneath the power of emotion raw scraped sweating tiny red beads (blood of the soul and all held back). Command bones (their passion motionless) to dance along with the music of epiphany rendered by the pens of poets who feel all they see and touch all they feel. "I know this love will tear me to pieces |

quote: It's a magic pen that can in mental, spiritual, and physical world all at the same time. You've done this here. I have never heard such a beautiful rendering of what poetry itself is in relation tot he poet. your ending wraps it up perfectly. I've read this many times. No matter what perspective I read it from, it always reveals a deeper sense of truth to me. Michael |

I like this. . . Let the words speak as they may. Perhaps, as they should. . . -- That which gives light must endure burning. |

Jimmy my friend, What a blessing you are! You know you are my idol when it comes to capturing the butterfly of love. You never cease to amaze. You always touch my heart and water my eyes. Don't know how things are with you, hoping and praying it is tolerable. Hugs and prayers ~L |

Boy is my face red! Somehow, somewhere is a reply to this poem thinking Jimmy wrote it. Major brain fart. My only defense is the poem blew my mind. L |

From your first line I painted my own picture of what was to follow and I was not disappointed. Well worth several reads. ![]() |

Hmm, haven't popped in here in quite awhile. I thought I'd already been here and that I was honored that you would find something usable in something of mine. Of course I (thought) I said YES - guess my mind was on vacation . . . as it quite often is, these days. enjoyed, j. |

Where are my manners? Sheesh! Thanks to everyone for the support and responses to this. I usually address each comment individually, but life has gotten kind of busy. It was always here that I could find support and inspiration. This is still better than social media apps! "I know this love will tear me to pieces |
