If poetry were a keyhole And time were standing still With everything to wonder On your window sill If magic WERE like clay And fairies were real If misty mountains really Hid a secret land away If Poetry were a keyhole And time was slipping away If secrets lands Were yours to unlock Like a key holders fortay If poetry were a keyhole And I had no time to waste I'd find a way to see the world In a very different way! |

Thank you, I wrote it from a drawing I drew. I think that poetry and art have a way of inspiring each other. When you can't write draw and a poem comes out. |

I agree, poetry is a keyhole...to any dimension. My poetry is a trapdoor in the ocean, and beneath it, a stairwell to the darkness and unknown depths below. just sayin' Michael |
