The Eye (A Matter of Perspective) If you have the eye but choose to lie To the face of the nation, To bring to tears, or stoke the fears, Keys to ingratiation. When lives mislead are filled with lead, From feelings fed, not fact-checked; Do you sleep well, or twist like hell Over the lives you have wrecked? The truths you twist, easily dismissed By anyone who cares to see. You cut and snip, perfect a clip Never shown in its entirety. You frame, and shame, and throw the blame, Perpetual condescending. The narrative by which you live, But whose agenda are you defending? To glimpse a toll that cost your soul, I wonder what your price was. Off the front lines, clear of the mines I’m sure you had no just cause. Just a pawn too, hope you know it’s true, I can’t help but wonder though, If what you fight for, in this spiritual war Is even something that you know? Michael Anderson 08/29/2020 |

WOW!!! I am a little afraid to respond but decided I need to say something...No matter your views this world is in the hands of Satan...he it is who reigns supreme and all in power are just tools he uses to play his game to own humanity...for me I watch and listen...I live in the world but am not of the world...my eye is on My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...I leave it to all to make their own choice...if I am to be condemned for these thoughts than so be it...they are my thoughts and mine alone |

Lol…your image made me think of a video game I used to play called “Lemmings”. Where you are in control of 100’s of characters all at once. You can give them orders, equip them with tools , and usually the only goal is to escape a cavern or ocean front guiding them every step of the way. You have to save a certain percentage of lemmings on every screen to continue to the next level. You have to be careful though, juggling so many lives at once. Send them the wrong direction they blindly walk of cliffs…or find a million other dramatic ways to kill themselves, that when analyzed, are all your fault for not telling them the right way to accomplish their task. ‘Course you always have to sacrifice a few to complete your object too though. Sounds more and more political as I type it out. Politicians, media & sheep. Michael |

Sky~ everything we are presented towards one side or the other. I am not sure the last time I read something I felt was entirely unbiased, but I’d say it’s been at least a decade. Michael |
