Stardust Voice's~ One hundred & fifty thousand years ago.. Woman of Congonese, Sees far & wide across the land of Zaire. Line of proud women, Rise & fall, Rise again, to a Turquoise and coral sky. Of British & Irish clan.. Old London town, Bards & beggars among the fog, Royalty & cockney peasants upon cobblestone. Claim to Dublin & Kerry, Toil she did, Swish of a smile, Wry with Limerick, Superstition in the Gloaming, Hat heavy with dreams, Bound for the new land. French & German descent.. Language of romance they say, Breads, wines & foods sublime, Exotic destination to some, She has fantasies of America. Proud people of Westphalia, Along the Rhine, Work ethic ingrained, Call to freedom & fresh beginnings Will be their destiny. Scandinavia.. Denmark prevalent, Adventurous exploring Vikings, Voyage beyond boundaries, Cool wind upon cheek. This Wondrous Passionate blend Finds my heart & mind Amazed, astonished, & All embracing. Remarkable.. how we're all connected Down the eons of time, How life can hopscotch across the hills of years & memory, Barriers & obstacles, Yet we Thrive.. All the Fighters, Workers, Nurturers, Teachers, Believers & Storytellers Continue on.. Oh WOW!!! You took me on a fantasy ride filled with ancient and recent truths...the vision you wove was stunning...yes we are all connected and the adventure begins...absolutely stunning...saying I love these words is not enough the history the past woven into the present...oh thank you |

I love this. Knowing what you're made of is always an interesting thing to find out. I received a DNA kit for Christmas last year. I was adopted so not knowing of biological ancestors and bloodlines was always something that bothered me. I haven’t explored it thoroughly yet. There is a massive amount of data. "How much is real? So much to question |

Temptress, I received it as a gift also, finally got around to doing the spit-thing  & sending it in. I've found out the initial info, haven't decided if I want to go any deeper, so..I'll think on it. But just knowing what I do gave me such a giddy feeling.Thanks for stopping in.. "Remarkable.. how we're all connected Down the eons of time," I found this quite introspective. Most of us only see ourselves in the here and now…but few stop and think about how we came to be…our distant relatives whose life struggles and decisions directly played a part in our being right here, right now. When and if they do, it tends to change overall life perspective I think. You capture the essence of this well, Sky~ Michael |
