God, the clouds remind us That we must lift our eyes to heaven, That there is above people Above their private woes Spirits running and flying With which we must coexist, The poet should point them out. |

The last line strikes hard. I write so darkly, I almost feel as sometimes I am doing exactly the one thing I shouldn't be with the gift that God gave me. I struggle with this every time I pick up the pen, and agree with you wholeheartedly. Michael |
