Early... Quiet Morning is a bird perched on a branch growing out of the dawn getting ready to take flight with a flutter, of wings and a burst of song. To abandon the soft serenity of night and soar into the light with fearless anticipation. Ida Werrett [This message has been edited by Marchmadness (07-26-2020 09:21 PM).] |

Ida, How perfectly you have captured a moment at dawn in the song and flight of a bird. Your words are simple and fresh as the dew. ~L |

"...in a branch growing out of the dawn..." This is a perfect line. The whole poem calms and inspires hope. Lovely as always. "How much is real? So much to question |

This depiction would be enough to make the Goddess of the Dawn blush, Ida. So much promise comes to us in morning, a new day to do things differently, better even. The sky is the limit to what anyone can do with the breath of fresh air each morning gives us, and your poem takes us right up to that limit. Michael |
