The endemic polemic of the left and the right, Why is it they're blind to indulgent spite? As Orwellian prescience comes to fruition, Societal norms in decomposition. Historiography sadly on leave, reality Decimated in rationality's hyperbole, Ensconced in mendacity, sadly the norm, Political platform, networks misinform. Adrift in a fog of obfuscation, Truth's abrogation, hail prevarication, Erudition cognition is sadly on leave, Please give us poor dunderheads, an eve of reprieve. |

In one of my classes we had 16 of us stand in a line while the teacher whispered something to the first person...who in turn whispered it to the next...and so on all the way down the line. The fact that was whispered to the first was so distorted and completely wrong in all facets by the time it reached the last person it was truly astounding. We, at least had started with a fact that day. As you say, networks don't give us truths to begin with anymore. We get two sides to choose from and neither is right...and rarely, if ever, 100% honest. pawns in a game we are, and most everyone seems so eager to play...to spout off their version of the misrepresentation of truth that has come down down their line...consciously or unconsciously adding in what their preshaped outlook believes will help influence others. I stopped playing that game some time back. I don't miss it. It's refreshing to see someone else notice it, though. Kudos, Tim. Michael |

I had to focus closely on each word to take it apart and understand...deep thoughts with simple meanings...*sigh* sometimes we just don't get it...great writing |
