In These Eyes I see the heart of her Who gives my soul release and guides my pen. She is the one who bids my heart to stir And makes me hear her call again. She is the one who fills my dreams at night And makes my days go by in sweetest bliss. She is, my heart, my truest, best delight And tells me every time I feel her kiss. She is my muse, the knower of my heart The one whose soul and heart live through my words She will always be with me, never to part The one whose song my soul has always heard. She is the one I write for from my soul And in These Eyes, my words are made whole. |

Sven, Your words seem sweet. I think Lori has accurate words. Truffles for sure. This has rhythm that I wish I could find in my own writing. I'm offering a huge reward if anyone sees my muse. It's in big trouble. It's good to see your poetry...
