Like an old friend
I don't have to pretend
Right on my sleeve
Ready for me to retrieve

Pick up the pieces I thought would fit
looking around now at where I sit

I can't complain it could be worse
If this is an act I had no lines to rehearse

Counting my blessings I take a deep breath
Filing away all of my regrets

Perfect mistakes never go away
They'are the reason I am here today

So pen in hand to fill you in
I start another chapter
Where do I begin?

I love this. If I'm reading correctly,  I like the way you talk about your heart on your sleeve without saying the word, "heart" at all.

"Its gonna be alright cause I'm okay with me"

hrmmm...I would need a ton of file boxes to hold all my mistakes.  Now perfect mistakes though?  The concept seems kind of all or nothing to me.  Probably cause I've never made a small one.

Thank you both for reading and letting me know you were here! Perfect mistakes are when things would have been worse had we not made the mistakes we made.
