Fair to middlin' of nowhere

With this
Virus crisis
at hand I realize
it will be my demise.
Over sixty and I might add
with underlying conditions, too bad.
But as I’ve been known to say,
none of us is promised another day.
I will not live in fear of death and sorrow
I didn’t yesterday, I will not tomorrow.

Having a weakened immune system I prolly should be more worried myself, but what good would that do?  Flowers are blooming, I will embrace the day, and the season...and the timing, should it come to that.

Michael,
Apparently you are safer outside. My tendency to isolate is coming in handy. ~L

I am in the same boat but I like Michael's way of thinking.

Recently found out I have Stage 4 lung and liver (never smoked a day in my life I might add) cancer - but hey, I still plan on living to be a hundred years and keep my smiling attitude all that time.

Things happen: one either gives up or goes on.

Me, well, I'm a moving on type person, and if I'm wanted, wherever I'm due to go, she, he, it is going to have to chase me down!

(wouldn't even know I'm "sick" if the doctors didn't tell me so. . . )

Oh Jimmy,
I hate to hear that for you. Cancer is a beast. You have the right attitude though. Don't know what your plans are for dealing with this, bless your heart, it is never easy.
I'm so glad you are still feeling well my friend. ~L
