Threshold of My Dreams By Paul Wilson Doorway too my heart a passage thru time Reflection in the mirror I no longer can find Stars whisper your name soft and gentle each night Visions and memories of you just out of sight Dreams of long ago return to me from another time and place Memories of you fill my mind and heart…I could never replace Storm clouds gather in the distance lightning… lights up the night sky a coolness fills the air dreams… like leaves of autumn begin to die Another day is dawning bringing new hopes and dreams…how I wish they would last We share another moment in time re-living dreams and memories from our past I’ve been to that place where all dreams dwell That secret place we never reveal a place of love, demons, heaven and hell What does life have in store for me will I ever know the reason of it all Who can I confide in special moments in time I recall I ‘m a wanderer searching for my existence it seems Standing here on the “Threshold of My Dreams” Copy Righted 9-2-18 ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul |

Love the ending/title to this Paul. "That secret place we never reveal a place of love, demons, heaven and hell" Life itself is a rarity. The shortage of it what gives perspective to all the fleeting dreams we've touched within it. They will glow again my friend. |

Nicely done Paul......a lot thoughts come back to us all, filled with the wonder of our life's choices/decisions....I guess as long as we continue to die we'll be faced the end results we are not able to change. Good work. Eric |

Michael & Ethome...Thank both of you for taking the time to read and reply, I appreciate your kind words very much. seems like both of your replies touch on my recent loss and maybe ya'll are right with your assumption but if you look at the copy right date in was written two months before the passing of my daughter. After reading your replies and reading the poem again I also think that it refers to her and just maybe she was the inspiration of this poem. even though at the time there was no clue of her having cancer.She touched my life in so many ways. I can't explain it but since her birth we shared a special bond and connection with each other, Thanks for reading and replying...Paul ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |

Paul, I have tried to get in touch with you by email, but when I send a reply to you it seems that you do not get it. I don't know what is getting on but I wanted to read your lyrics but when you send me an email there are no attachments and when I send you a reply it seems as if you do not get it. Maybe you can work something out somehow. Eric |

Paul, I just did a bunch of work on four of your songs and they all came back mail failure... Send you songs to me at ... I don't care who the heck sees my email I'll just delete what I don't want....please don't go through this complicated protection system here....I know it's needed and I understand why, but it just takes a flash of a second to delete what I don't want....when you send them do it through your own email not through this system... If someone uses an email link from a person's post to send them an email, the words are sent to them via PiP...and the receiver cannot just use the regular reply button for it to go back to the original sender. It will try to go back to Pip and that part of PiP is not set up to receive email. At the bottom of the email that you received though, if it came through PiP, there will be a link to the email listed on file with PiP from the user who sent it. That is where any responses should be sent. If the linked email doesn't work, that means more than likely that the email listed in the profile of the user who sent the first email via PiP is no longer valid. That could be the reason for the failure, also. Either one, just hitting the reply button instead of using the listed link, or the listed link from the original sender's profile no longer being valid could be cause for the email errors you are receiving. |
