It really doesn’t matter-
Just what you think of me.
Of the fear of your opinions-
I’m grateful I am free.

A person hasn’t much to do-
Who judges someone else-
He’d be a whole lot better off-
To merely judge himself.

I try to give to others-
The room that I require…
For them to mind their business
Is all that I desire.

Everyone has problems-
And most of us have ghosts-
And probably some demons,
That tend to haunt us most.

If a person doesn’t have regrets-
Know disappointments sting…
I doubt he’s ever traveled much…
Nor done a single thing.

So be decisive in this life-
While partaking of its cup-
The road is paved with flattened squirrels
Whose minds were not made up.

Immediately thought of "Roadkill" for a title, though that was just bled over from your ending I think and doesn't serve the true aura of your poem.  Indecisiveness is never something I've seen in you.

GsJohn, Liked your Wise Poem, & got a kick
out of the close.
I thought of "Mind Your Own Biscuts, & Life
Will Be Gravey" for a title lol,it's from
country singer Kasey Musgraves song "Biscuts"

GS - I loved this. It was thoughtful, wise and caught me off guard with an ending that was gut bustin' funny. Thanks for sharing this one with "decisiveness". Namyh

Many lines of straight honest expression in this piece.....

I came up with
"Quicksand Judgement"
