Wee Elf and Cleopatra, were sailing on a barge, Said Wee Elf to Cleopatra, "My your asp is large." Wee Elf he then went swimming, in the Nile beside the boat, As Cleopatra said to Wee, "I doubt that Wee can float. I am afraid my dear friend Wee, Wee will soon sink like a rock, While my asp and I are back, on dry land at the dock." Wee Elf was gurgling, in the currents of the Nile, Gazing up at Cleopatra, who had this smirky smile, "Wee is sorry for Wee's comment, your asp is not that large, Would you please forgive Wee's tongue, and pull Wee in the barge?" "I think I'll let Wee swim a Nile," Cleopatra she replied, "While I head off to river's shore, while Wee gets mummified." Now Cleo finally said "enough", and pulled Wee Elf inside, Then went ashore and off they went, on a two humped camel ride. They played some hieroglyphics, and danced on King Tut's tomb, Until Wee hours of the knight, Wee and Lancelot played the room. Now if this poem don't make sense, it is not as it does seem, For you see this poem, it but Wee pyramid dream. The north pole has no school you see, So Mrs. Claus, she home schools Wee, Wee's lesson was Egyptology, Wee would learn some history, But as per usual, Wee got bored, daydreamed Wee bit, and then Wee snored. Mrs. Claus was none to happy, "What am I to do with Elf so Wee?" Threw up her hands and let out a shout, "That is enough, Wee Elf get out." No more school for Wee today, Wee might as well go out and play." So ends Wee's tale about the Nile, the only thing missing, a Wee crocodile. You must admit it was some sight, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A WEE NIGHT!!! |

You've not lost your touch, not one Wee bit! "The business of the poet...is to show the sorriness underlying the grandest things and the grandeur underlying the sorriest things." Thomas Hardy |
