Most people do not like me- But I can live with that. Perhaps I am too honest… But that’s just where I’m at. If you always tell the truth, friend- You won’t get caught by lies- And if you listen closely… There will be no rude surprise. A temper, yes, I have one- And I likewise have a heart- That’s not completely calloused- And a head, not all that smart. I have a reputation, I’m accruing every day… To never leave one doubting- Just what I meant to say. So take me, friend, or leave me- I am the way I am- If that don’t suit your fancy- I do not give a d**n. |
