Are you listening to me, dearest? Is your heart in tune with mine? Can you taste the flavor of my words- Like some sweet, classic wine? Can you feel the heat of passion- As my words depict a scene? Of a castle in a dream world- And you enthroned, the Queen? Do my visions quite enchant you? As your memory enchants me? Do we while away our hours- In a mindscape, wild and free? Are these words of mine quite foolish? Am I cursed to dream alone? Won’t you join me for a little? Ere the time of dreams is gone? Absolutely exquisite, John . . . You have me swooning . . . Such passionate, enchanting, mesmerising words could never be foolish. May the time of dreams never be gone . . . |
