What Kind of Man What kind of man would run her around what kind of man would let her down I don't know if I have the strength in me to be all i want to be for her what kind of man wouldn't want to try What kind of fool would love this way act so damn cool without a word to say just how much she means to you it's so easy to do show her what kind of fool wouldn't want to try I still feel the flames of every bridge I burned it mingles with regret like ashes in my mouth does my heart still beat the same so many lessons left to learn all I know is I won't forget I'm sure they won't either all that's left is a world of things to say to her Just what madness would lead her on this way it's such sadness to let it all fade to grey there is yet so much love still inside so put away your pride you need her Tell me what kind of man wouldn't lay it all out on the line for her What kind of man wouldn't want to try "Somewhere in a burst of glory, sound becomes a song" - Paul Simon |

Probably a guy like I once was. I've changed some with age. Sadly, the damage is already done. You laid out the quandary well. |

Souls, This stood out to me.. "I still feel the flames of every bridge I burned & it mingles with regret like ashes in my mouth" & "you need her" IMHO the core of this heart-song. Enjoyed.. Sky~ Autumn.. |

I like this. It reads like a song, and just now and then a raw feeling reaches out and grabs me. That's a good thing. |

Love this. It is sharp and soft at the same time, and pokes the soul awake with just the right amount of jab. Well done! |
