Half-light of a waning moon, with shadows helter skelter, A gentle whisper of the wind, upon my brow I felt her. Reaching out to touch my being, calling out to heavens flee, To leave behind my earthly bonds, to seek what I can’t see. I gaze into the welkin sky, in wonder of the night. Knowing I a mortal man, incapable of flight. Whispered wind races through the night as I am left behind, Agaze upon night’s firmament, Alas, I see but yet am blind. |

Tim - Now that's creative and elegant poetry from the pen of a kindred scribbler. I liked it a lot. Namyh |
