22 November 2018 Her eyes slipped away over hazy mountains and her faint smile painted long ago on her agéd face. She wrapped the comforting hug of her independence, freedom and solitude closely around her as she did the summer sunshine. Her thoughts rode high on fluffy clouds in an azure sky and time, in reverence to her, waited and words were whispered on wafts of wind and beauty of birdsong and soft-smile remembrance in the summer sunshine. She wondered whether he ever thought of her too. She didn’t want him back, but needed the bittersweet memories like chocolates after tears. |
