Desire

I desire closure of needs that call
To find happiness in the day without overthinking
To arrive and leave happy always
For my family to live forever
For the heat and cold to disappear

I desire a world that cares about this planet
Youth to grow up in better ways
Fresh food to replace packaged food
Doctors to care enough to really help
Workers to care about what they do

I desire everyone’s paddock to have the same green grass
For aliens to be real
God to be a saviour
And Heaven to be a happy place

I desire strength enough to change
People to care enough to help
To have money enough to enjoy life
To have at least one true friend

I desire the impossible
The miracle
The dream to be real
The inner voice to share

I desire rose coloured glasses
An inner voice that’s always happy
And to feel the warmth of love

And probably a lot more 🙂

Desire is so complex and so heartfelt. In a perfect world our desires would be met and multiplied. I love your desire and your big beautiful heart.
