Sky Blue & Your Eyes Too Sky blue and your eyes too the hand that shapes the wheel will take me away from all I feel I found you in this Crackerjack box of a town now I wonder how and you pulled at my shirt until I was naked now I know you thought we couldn’t make it and you were right but please don’t shut off the light just yet you know I won’t forget Sundown and your hair brown put the night in my rear view and a silver moon meant for two I lost you to the dark corridors in my mind now I’m running blind when did I look to see you let go of my hand why did you slip away from me like sand I’m left to deal one sweet moment of time still to fall what to do with it all Sky blue on blue and your eyes too I wonder how much time lets slip away as I find myself pulling into your driveway Life is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. |
