Woes Of a Cave-woman~

In ancient caves and olden days

women sat and pondered their predicament,

sometimes by a fire, which of course HE said

HE invented, along with the wheel.

Her caveman was still speaking in grunts,

till she came along.

"Must he always drag me off by my hair

whenever he's feeling frisky..

couldn't we just stroll together

behind a rock, do the wild-thing

and fall asleep in each others arms".

"I'm so tired of looking at these gray granite

cave walls,  thinking about painting

some murals of our culture and life together,

it would really brighten up the place.

Well..all and all I guess we live a good life,

free..and in tune with nature".

"Ahhh...here he comes now, back from the hunt,

my wild fire, hairy-chested man,

who still makes my thighs quiver

at the 1st whiff of him.

Some things never change, do they, Miss Sky...

Like taking the good with the bad.

I've toyed with the thought that wedding vows should maybe reflect just that:

"Do you x___________ promise to take the good with the bad in your union with x__________?"
And do you x__________ etc...

Nah! That wouldn't work either. There's still that "promise" thing in there.

Ya know, I think that between the two sexes, men have the least respect for promises. That's why they're the first to make them.

Just another reason I'm happy to be a woman! No, really! I promise!

...just bein' Bluesy

It's all about musk, isn't it my friend.
All things are secondary when scented breeze wafts across our noses.

For a while, anyway . . . until the winds of reality washes it away, for a while.

Much enjoyed.

Sky - When I got cold, I invented fire so we and the kids wouldn’t freeze to death. I made the wheel so we didn’t have to walk everywhere thus stopping our bunions from aching again. I may still grab you by your hair but that doesn’t I doesn’t mean I don’t love you. Besides, I know a “special rock” behind which we can still do the wild thing and fall asleep together…... but wake me up early. Me and the boys got an appointment with a buffalo on the west side in the morning. Okay! Okay! So paint already and put some nice dinosaur pictures on the wall to beautify the place. And when I return from the hunt with my chest on fire and your thighs quiver at the 1st whiff of me…….let’s head for that “special rock” to do the wild thing. This has been the Woes of a Cave-man who loves the Woes of a Cave-woman. Hallelujah! Namyh
P.S. – Now where did I put that goat cheese and my club with the spikes on it. LOL.
