Within his armored headpiece,
the Knights' eyes peer out
From the dark world inside him
to a darker world without

His moment of glory
may soon come to be
His lance firm and steady,
his fears have been freed

To his lady-in-waiting
he's distant and cold
A Knight knows his fate,
and seldom grows old

Hooves dig deep as his steed
sets his course,
while another rides hard
on a galloping horse

'Til the clash of steel lances
drown out those of the screams.
and a lady-in-waiting
parts with her dreams

Oh thank God Bluesy, I was so worried about those poor sesquipedalian words. They can be so fragile. Bless your kind heart. ~L

Bluesy...That dirty old knight is up to no good I bet. Heard the Prince had a crash with his car today 98 years old and driving, they should take his license away. Enjoyed...Paul
