There was a time when the fastest R&R man in California had my name on his most-revered chest patch Crankin’ back the coil-spring-supported banjo, then respectfully facing the hand-crushing torque-tube drive-line... Yep! There’s just nothing quite like getting spit in the eye by a cast-iron 2-speed powerglide If you thought you had muscle enough to wrestle that bad-boy off the block without some hydraulic help, then I’ll tell you what, “Big Bad John”... They’ll be finding you at the bottom of the mine with a cooling line coming out of each ear and a torque-converter stuck in your...what? Ya, so when that sharp little Zsa Zsa gives you a couple toots of her horn, you want to look as sharp as a Munchin’ Muncie on the sly A ‘Gabor-at-the-door’ shifting you like a ‘four-on-the-floor’...hmm But that’s the kinda stuff a guy tends to think about while he’s recovering, after getting spit in the eye by a cast-iron 2-speed powerglide Double-A’s to ya, pal! ...just bein' Bluesy |
