Witness the death. Oh the pain in my heart as Michaels blood seeps through the cloth between him and me, life gone from the mass of him fallen over my chest, my shoulders, the left side of my face. The twelfth hour spared him no mercy, yet protected me by draping his husk across my life as booted feet, foreign language, and firing guns trod on us both as they rushed by, seeing both of us as dead. Witness the death of my friend.

To await the perishing of yet one more life is something, according to how close we are to this friend. As we sit and stare at life ending we see ourselves. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
