When night time temps tease about the forties and the floors begin to chill, the thermostat’s teeth start to chatter. Warm fuzzy slippers hibernating all summer under the bed come out to warm cold toes. And robes once dormant, wake to wrap around cold shoulders that shudder at the thought of having to turn the furnace on. LGR©10/1/18 |

Yep, Lori . . . Getting ready for the cold, cold winter. Gets a bit under the skin, at least it does mine. Nothing to it but hang in with what's coming. If I had the money I'd fly to Hawaii, but I don't so like everyone else, I hunker down to it and hopefully survive it. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
