Just Beyond Twilight There . . . Sunshine’s gone, it’s just beyond twilight, vision is at it’s worst, the eyes haven’t quite recovered from light’s glare, night vision hasn’t quite set in, and yet – there are subdued shadows if one looks, movement, and screams, if one listens, brushing against ones skin, could be the wind, but too solid, almost a push, and then, stars push through the dark, city lights come into focus, half-a- moon is above the trees, night time sounds are what one hears, animals and people of the night are what one sees, but always, always, there’s that feeling, that touch, that screaming, lurking, waiting, for the unwary.

Nice Jimmy! Yes there is that about that time of not quite day or night, thanks for putting your finger on it. ~L |

Confidence and capability conquer fear, dear Wesley. Few that possess them are caught unaware. I always have time for you... |

You captured the absolute imagery and essence of the evening’s twilight within your excellent wordplay, Jimmy. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
